Five Best mobiles to buy under 15k (>10k)
Hello friends ! Lots of questions are asked to me daily that "which mobile one should prefer under 15000?". This is the highest selling sub segment in India. Xiaomi topped the list and dethroned Samsung last year. But, now, many other OEMs have started making some brilliant phones under this price bracket. So, I will tell you 5 best mobile under 15000 in today's post.
5. Moto Z2 play 64GB, Price: 15k, Paytm
Motorola Z2 play happens to be last year's mid range flagship of Motorola. This mobile was launched under sub 30k price bracket which is dominated by Honor and Oneplus. This mobile has a brilliant AMOLED display and smart moto mods which is why it has made into list of my top phones. It comes with a respectable snapdragon octa core 626 chip and a dual pixel camera with f/1.7 aperture. Motorola still holds a good brand value in India. All essential sensors are present in it.
Pros:
1. Great camera performance.
2. Stock android.
3. Amoled display with 16:9 aspect ratio.
Cons:
1. Costly moto mods.
2. No dual VOLTE as 626 is a 2 years old chip.
Ideal for most of the casual users whom brand value matters.
4. Nokia 6.1 64 GB, Price : 15k, Paytm
Many people argue Nokia X6 is the best mobile by Nokia under 15k. But I do not think it ll be launched under 15k. Therefore, the 2nd best mobile makes to our list. Powered by Snapdragon 630 chip, this mobile is meant for rough and tough users and one can play heavy games like Asphalt 8. Because of its strong, Aluminium series build, this mobile feels solid and durable. The battery is great and supports Quick charging. There is also type C port and NFC. The mobile's camera powered by ZEISS is average. However, Nokia enabled Camera2API and one can use gcam app for better result. It comes with google's android one program. Thus, it is one of the most secured mobiles with 3 years of software support. All essential sensors are present.
Pros:
1. Snappy software with android one.
2. Dual VOLTE (Jio+Jio) Support.
3. Strong build.
Cons:
1. No 18:9 display.
2. Average camera.
Ideal for: Most users whom build and software updates matter. Also, many people may not like new 18:9 display and stick to traditional 16:9 display. This mobile is a better choice for Nokia fans.
3. Redmi Note 5 pro 4+64Gb, 15k, Flipkart
"The people's choice" should be the term that I may use for this handset. This is a mobile which is an all rounder and should have topped the list. But, now the competition by other 2 mobiles are so good that this mobile is now felt as an old gen mobile. The mobile is a great shooter in camera. Powered by Kryo octa core, 636 chip, the mobile is also an ideal for a gamer. Coupled with 4GB ram and 64gb storage, this mobile has great in hand feel. Recently, it got Android oreo based MIUI enabling dual VOLTE which is a welcome move. It has a respectable 4000 mah battery. However, it also has some shortcomings including flash sale.
Pros:
1. 18:9 display.
2. Good camera with nice selfie shooter.
3. Great battery life
4. Powerful performer
5. Supports QC 2.0 (Buy from outside)
6. Dual VOLTE
Cons:
1. MIUI many times not stable.
2. Irritating Flash sale.
3. Micro usb port.
4. Launched with android Nougat.
5. Boring looks.
Ideal for all people except people who do not like custom UI like MIUI.
2. Asus zenfone Max pro M1,4+64GB, 13k, Flipkart
When many argue Redmi Note 5 pro is a better device than M1, I strongly disagree considering, it costs 2k less and offers stock android. The mobile is guaranteed to receive android security updates bi monthly which is 2nd best to Nokia 6.1. It has a pair of good dual cameras though RN5 pro is better than it. The chipset is 636 and because of stock android, the mobile becomes an absolute beast. The 18:9 display looks eye catchy. There is no NFC or type C port. The mobile has a mammoth 5000 mah battery which makes it the battery champ. If you are a heavy user, and you want a mobile, I recommend you Asus zenfone max pro M1 over anybody.
Pros:
1. Great battery life
2. Good rear camera
3. 18:9 display
4. Powerful performer.
5. Stock android
6. Android security patch update promise
7. Dual VOLTE
Cons:
1. Micro USB port.
2. Irritating flash sale.
3. Average selfie shooter.
4. No Quick Charge (QC) support.
Ideal for everyone except whose priority is selfie.
1. Oppo Realme 1, 6GB+128GB, 15k, Amazon
Yah ! Finally a mobile from Oppo topped the list. Nothing can beat this beast when it comes to performance. Powered by AI powered, Mediatek Helio P60 chip, this mobile is an absolute performer in daily to heavy usage. The design is unique unlike its competitors. The mobile has a 3410 mah battery. But, due to AI by P60, the battery is similar to that of RN5 pro. The mobile surprisingly beat RN5 pro in camera department. Thanks to its AI camera and ISP. It just does magic in low light. The only major con is lack of finger scanner. But, Oppo has provided a fast face unlock. At 15k, you will get a massive DDR4 6GB ram and 128GB storage which is further expandable. The headphone jack is surprisingly good. If you are a multimedia lover and even a gamer, this mobile ticks all aspects e.g: 18:9 display, great audio output, powerful chip, Good battery life, AI mode for gaming, 128GB storage to store ample of data etc. The other major pro over Asus and Redmi is that it is readily available. No flash sale ! Phew.
Pros:
1. Readily available.
2. Outstanding performer.
3. Great camera (Rear+front).
4. Android 8.1 out of box
5. 128GB storage with 6GB RAM
6. Great audio jack.
7. Bunch of AI features.
8. Dual VOLTE supported.
Cons:
1. Android updates will be an issue because of color OS
2. No Finger scanner, but fast face unlock is present.
3. Micro USB port with no fast charging option.
Ideal for everyone unless finger scanner matters you most.
