Why buying Samsung S7 makes more sense than Oneplus 5 in 2017

The November has come around well with lots of mobile phone launches. We have seen iPhone X going on sale so as pixel 2. The samsung is also not too far as Note 8 got record no of sales. Other than that, LG launched V30. From Chinese vendors, we have seen innovative launches like Mi Mix 2 and One plus 5T. Nokia also launched its mid range mobile Nokia 7 and Motorola launched X4. So, lots of happenings in November. But, I could not notice that some flagships of 2016 are on sale with an incredible price. The moto Z got a price cut and now have a permanent price tag of 30k. Flipkart in India was selling this for 20k. That might be an eye catch deal. There are more than this deal.Apart from some mobiles from HTC, Some retailers are now selling one of most versatile mobiles Samsung S7 and Samsung S7 edge. When Samsung S7 is now selling at 33k in FLipkart, S7 edge is getting sold at 43k in Amazon.

According to me, these deals are not just deals. These are blessings to people who want an all rounder mobile or flagship. Now, you very well understand that we are not talking about benchmark. If you check recent developments, one can reckon, the performance part is getting saturated. Its about bigger display, connectivity and camera. These are the new trends. When 835 processor has a raw AnTuTu score of 180k in OP5, Apple's new chip has 200k. Samsung Note 8 has 170k. Samsung S7 has 135k AnTuTu score. Frankly, good score does not mean good user experience e.g. iPhone X might have better AnTuTu score. but when it comes to multi tasking and app optimization, Note 8 beats it. At some point of time, especially after 820 chipset, the daily users can't really differentiate in terms of day to day usage. Okay, now coming to the subject line, I will tell you why buying a S7 makes more sense than buying OP5.

If you compare the above, you can see, OP5 is superior only in performance department. As I told you, after certain time, for a daily user delay in 0.3 Sec in app opening hardly matters. 80% of people are casual and normal user and want better durability, brand value and a flagship at a lower price. The Exynos 8890 is equally capable of Qualcomm 820. Samsung has done a tremendous job in app optimization. The SAMOLED 2k display of S7 is outstanding and the camera outperforms that of OP5 easily thanks to tremendous software optimization done by Samsung. The TouchWiz will not lag at all as samsung promises they worked really hard to make it better than previous versions. Both get regular security updates. Samsung might be stopping the security updates after S9 comes. But that is too after 6 months. Samsung S7 also has IP68 protection which helps you click pics inside a swimming pool. S7 has wireless charging support. Besides it, Samsung S7 contains a lot of handy sensors like Barometer and Heart rate monitors. This makes Samsung Health app more worthy of praise. 

Flipkart offers an additional off of 5k on exchange. This deal is something one should not miss at all. The main reason to choose S7 above OP5 will be

So, I will maintain my recommendation to buy Samsung S7 rather than buying an OP 3T/5.
